Help us Ignite a Passion for STEM in Minnesota Students!
Our Goal: $25,000 to support the 2025 State Science Fair and Science Bowls
In today’s digital world, students are constantly bombarded with flashy distractions through social media and online experiences. How can we capture their attention and help them discover the limitless opportunities that science offers?
There’s no simple answer. It takes a dedicated community of parents, educators, and STEM professionals, all working together over time to inspire the next generation. By exposing students to fascinating STEM concepts and nurturing their natural curiosity across their school experience, we can open their eyes to the incredible potential of the world around them.
You are an essential part of this community!
Last year, hundreds of people like you in the STEM community stepped up to save the State Science Fair and Science Bowls when a major corporate sponsorship was ended. We remain deeply grateful for that support from so many in the STEM community in Minnesota. Now we need renewed support from the STEM community to help us continue our work.
Will you help us to inspire the next generation of students?
Please make a gift today - and, if possible, consider making it a sustaining donation of $10, $25 or more a month so we can count on your support as we renew our work on Science Fair and Science Bowl every year.
Our work impacts over 2,500 students every year:
-
Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair offers over 350 students:
- A hands-on experience of what real scientific research is;
- The valuable lesson that failure is key to discovery;
- The excitement of competition and recognition for outstanding work;
- The chance to be mentored by scientists & judges who care about their success;
- A fun environment where students connect with peers who share their passion.
-
Minnesota State Science Bowls gives over 240 students the chance to:
- Deepen their STEM knowledge;
- Collaborate with peers and develop leadership skills;
- Build confidence in their abilities through healthy and fun competition;
- Interact with STEM professionals in an exciting environment;
- Earn recognition for themselves, their teammates, and their school.
We are also reaching thousands of students from communities underrepresented in STEM through our FORSE (Fostering Opportunities and Relationships in Science Education) program. By bringing these students engaging activities and exposure to role models who look like them - we're helping to show these students that a future in STEM is within reach.
We can’t do this important work without you!
Please make a donation today and help us ignite a passion for STEM in Minnesota students - next year, and well into the future.
