Please Help Raise $20,000 by September to Save the MN State Science Fair.

At John Marshall High School, last year was my first year to be part of the Rochester Stem Fair program. My older friends may remember this as "Science Fair". JM had 3 students entering last year for first time and all 3 got to go to the MN State STEM Science Fair! (I got to chaperone.. down time was spent at the Science Museum across the street from the fair :).

It's my hope to see that number increase this year. Every endeavor requires people to step up.

Anyway, historically the science fair has been underwritten by companies and individuals, etc. That funding is disappearing as everyone is tightening their belts.

If you have the ability to help out, or know of companies that would like to stand in the gap, please consider donating to the MN State Stem Fair.

There's a dynamic young woman (Mayo HS Senior) that went from the MN State Stem Fair to International Science fair! This will be her last year competing as she graduates this coming Spring.

Join me in saving a well-loved, long-standing tradition in Minnesota. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us raise the funds needed for a virtual State Science Fair at least. If successful, this campaign will give the Minnesota Academy of Science the foundation it needs to build on to raise the funds needed for the in-person event we all value so much.
