As some of you may know, I support high school students who are working on science and engineering projects that they go on to present at science fairs. The Minnesota State Science Fair is a fantastic opportunity for middle and high school students to present their projects to experts in the field. I have seen firsthand how these conversations have an amazing impact on students' self-confidence and excitement about a career in STEM. It would be a devastating loss if this opportunity disappeared. Help us raise the funds needed for a virtual State Science Fair at least. If successful, this campaign will give the Minnesota Academy of Science the foundation it needs to build on to raise the funds needed for the in-person event we all value so much.
